Meet Our Second Featured Fazzino Collector: Christian Baehr
Christian Beahr: In His Own Words
First time I saw the artwork of Charles in the year 1999 I was so
impressed.
I was so curious about this wonderful kind of art, so I did a research
and found the email address of the DDD gallery in Santa Barbara.
This was the moment the artwork of Charles Fazzino came into my life.
Additionally a wonderful friendship started, the friendship to a very
singular person: Carol Ritz. In a large number of emails and telephone-
calls we philosophized about the amazing artwork of Charles Fazzino.
At first I ordered art-pins, art-ties and art- pillows. The New York
themes, the Broadway themes and the Hollywood themes became a very
special meaning to me. So I booked the art-table. Later the original
Hollymoon
and the mural A Silhouette of Manhattan followed. I am very proud that I
could find the sculpture "A taste of the lower east side“.
It was also a singular occurrence as I met Charles in gallery here
in
Germany. While we had a little talk he created a wonderful piece (Taxi)
just for me. It was a very special moment that I will never forget. This year I ordered this amazing Broadway screen.
Best of all is the
special creation on the backside of it.
And I‘ m looking
forward
to his new Unique "Miami“.
So I‘ m collecting the artwork over so many years and every piece became
a chapter of my life. Every little detail in the themes, the amazing
coloring and the 3-D dramatics is from indescribable descriptive power.
The artwork is like a symphony which gives us the multiplicity of
sensual pleasures.
Everytime I walk across my Fazzino’s: I feel deeply touched. At last I want to say „Thank you“:
